Sometimes called the "poor man's velvet," corduroy is a soft, durable fabric that has been popular among people of all classes for almost two centuries. Usually made of cotton or cotton blended with such man-made fabrics as rayon and polyester, corduroy is woven with loose threads that are then cut to create a pile, or thick, soft texture. Most corduroy has ridges, or wales, of this pile that run the length of the fabric. Fine or pinwale corduroy has sixteen ridges to the inch, while wide wale corduroy has eight ridges to the inch. Broadwale corduroy, which has a velvety soft feel, may have only three wales to the inch, and no wale corduroy has an almost velvet-like feel. Prized for its comfort and practicality, corduroy fabric is used to make all sorts of clothing, from baby clothes to stylish suits, and is a popular upholstery fabric for furniture.

1. Good heat retention
         The corduroy fabric has two parts the velvet tissue and ground tissue. The warmth of corduroy fabric is very good, because of the longitudinal velvet fabric of the surface.

2. Good stereoscopic effect
         Corduroy fabric has a good three-dimensional effect. It has a rich feel and is very comfortable to wear. It is a natural and environmentally friendly fabric.
         This kind of fabric has a round and plump feel, the appearance is clear, glossy and even, the fiber is wear-resisting, the texture is thick, the warm permeability is good, the moisture absorption is strong and very comfortable to wear.

PRODUCT EXTERNAL QC : For each order, except for our factory quality control, our QC will check the products according to the order qty , our QC will choose some proportion of goods to inspect , including Inspection of Width, Weight, Handfeeling, Color, Roll put up , Packing etc. To make sure the Quality of goods will be same as the samples confirmed .

PRODUCT INTERNAL QC : Our lab will do the test with the shipping samples of each order. Including Inspection of bondstrength , Washing and Dry cleaning, Shrinkage etc. , to make sure the quality can reach the industrial standard .
